As mentioned, my full time job is driving a truck. I drive full-time, 50-55 hours a week for a local LTL company out of Grand Rapids, MI. A Monday thru Friday job - home every night. A typical weekday for me goes as follows:
6am - wake up - get coffee - read daily Bible reading - then computer time for about an hour while the rest of the house still sleeps
7:15am - shave & shower - make lunch and head to work
8:30 - punch in - drive around Michigan making deliveries and pick-ups (average 12-14 stops and 300 miles per day) - usually get back to home terminal around 7 or 7:30
go home and be the best dad possible until bedtime - spend quality time with my wife on the couch usually watching our regular TV shows that we have recorded on DVR - then to bed for 6 or 7 hours
My daily Bible readings are done via my Blackberry on a free app provided by YouVersion.com. Highly recommended to anybody interested. Many different reading plans to choose from. The particular plan I am reading is called Project 345. In one years time I will have read the entire New Testament with an average reading time each day of 3 minutes and 45 seconds (3:45)
As you can see by my schedule, this does not leave a whole lot of time for blogging and writing. I do the best I can with the hour or so that I have each morning. It's very easy to get distracted on Twitter or reading other peoples blogs. Before I know it, my hour is gone and I have to head to work.
Like right now... I am already running late and I am not finished with this.....have to finish later......
